Demi-god is used to refer to deities who were once human and later became Devas due to their superior Karmas. Demi-gods also referred to those beings who are "spiritual off-springs" or born out of a human and a Deva. The Concept of Mlecchas in Hinduism

They were unknown to the Vedic culture, not versed in Sanskrit and were out of the Bharatvarsha. King Bhoja (1,010-1,015 AD) established Languages for the 4 Varnas : Brahmins - Sanskrit Kshatriya - Sanskrit Vaishya - Sanskrit Shudras - Prakrit Mlecchas mentioned in Scriptures : The 5 Mleccha tribes - Kirata, Pulindasa, Indo-Greek, Scythians, Kushanas. ( Amar Kosha, 814 AD) This tribe was born from the tail of Nandini (celestial cow). Some Facts about them : They guard entrances of holy sanctums and are generally armed with staff, mace or staff with hooded snake/ skull. The dvarpalas of Vishnu temple are - Chanda & Prachanda, Dhatru & Vidhatru, Jaya & Vijaya, Bhadra & Subhadra. The dvarpalas of Shiva temple are - Nandi & Mahakala, Herambha & Bhringi, Durmukh & Pandura, Sita & Asita. The dvarpalas of Brahma temple are - Herambha & Bhringi. A Rajput (from Sanskrit raja-putra , “son of a king”) is a member of one of the patrilineal clans of western, central, northern India.
