The Gaucho Culture

 Hello Everyone !!!

The Gaucho culture was a type of cowboy culture of South America, which existed from 1501-1801

The typical outfit includes a poncho (doubled as a saddle blanket, as sleeping gear), a Facon knife and a Rebenque (leather whip).

The main components of a Gaucho life are related to rural life of plain, horse, guitar and mate.

The Gaucho Virtues : 

  • Solidarity
  • Loyalty
  • Hospitality
  • Courage

The rural Gaucho culture consists of horse, leather, guitar, loneliness, housing, family etc.
