3. Li    (proper rites)
4. Zhi  (knowledge)
5. Xin  (integrity)

The 4 Virtues :
1. Jie      (contingency)
2. Xiao   (filial piety)
3. Yi
4. Zhong (loyalty)

Other Elements of Ethics :
Cheng (honesty), Shu (kindness & forgiveness), Lian (honesty & cleanliness), Chi (shame, sense of judgement), Yong (bravery), Wen (kind & gentle), Liang (good, kindhearted), Gong (respectful, reverent), Jian (frugal), Rang (modesty, self-efficacy).

The 7 Characteristics of a Junzi (gentleman) :
1. Frugality
2. Does more and speak less
3. Loyal
4. Obedient
5. Knowledgeable
6. Disciplined
7. Benevolent

The 4 Categories of People : (Song dynasty)
1. Junzi
2. Lesser man (no virtues, but intelligence and skills)
3. Philistine (a commander)
4. Sage
