Current Challenges of Indian Police Force [Part-II]

Hello Everyone !!!
The current challenges faced are as follows :

  1. Archaic laws of the Police Act.
  2. Sub-optional staffing, poor selection and training process.
  3. Backward technology used, although police force of certain states improving on this parameter, still on the whole the scenario is not at par.
  4. Lack of internal checks and balances.
  5. Sub-standard investigative capabilities and infrastructure.
  6. Crisis in leadership and command.
  7. Low sex ratio and balance in the police department.
  8. Corruption among police ranks.
  9. Non-compliance to Supreme Court's 7 Directives Report by various states.
  10. Need of a good mix-up of personnel from every religion, class, caste and tribe to increase understanding of behavior and attitude of different communities.

The Concept of Mlecchas in Hinduism

 Hello Everyone !!! In Vedic era India, all alien cultures that were less civilized were termed as "Mlecchas" or barbarians. They were unknown to the Vedic culture, not versed in Sanskrit and were out of the Bharatvarsha. King Bhoja (1,010-1,015 AD) established Languages for the 4 Varnas : Brahmins - Sanskrit Kshatriya - Sanskrit Vaishya - Sanskrit Shudras - Prakrit Mlecchas mentioned in Scriptures : The 5 Mleccha tribes - Kirata, Pulindasa, Indo-Greek, Scythians, Kushanas. ( Amar Kosha, 814 AD) This tribe was born from the tail of Nandini (celestial cow). They are dwellers of hills and mountains, of fierce eyes, conversant with deceptive powers of the Asuras.   ( Mahabharata 7.92) Mentioned in several verses of Srimad Bhagvatam and Chaitanya Charitamrita .
