 The police force of any nation are sworn officers of providing protection. When some unexpected situations arises when peaceful options are not applicable for situation control, "Use of force" option is applied.

The 3 Factors of Use of Deadly Force :

 1. Ability
2. Jeopardy
3. Opportunity

The Force Ladder :

 1. Presence
2. Verbal commands
3. Physical contact (soft hand)
4. Physical contact (hard hand)
5. Baton application
6. Use of chemical spray/ Taser
7. Lethal force, firearms usage


  • The T-baton and flashlight has 32 applications, out of which 26 are defensive moves.
