The Types of Celibates in Hinduism

 Hello Everyone !!! 

The 4 Types of Celibates :

1. Savitra :--

After initiation and the sacred thread ceremony must observe at least 3 days of celibacy.

2. Prajapatya-- 

Strict observance of celibacy for at least 1 year after initiation.

3. Brahma-brahmachari--

Observance from the time of initiation upto the time of the completion of study of the Vedas.

4. Naisthika--  

Remains celibate throughout the whole life.
