Shankara's Raja Yoga

Adi Shankaracharya was an early 8th century Indian philosopher and theologian who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta. He is credited with unifying and establishing the main currents of thought in Hinduism.

The 15-fold Raja Yoga :
  1. Yama
  2. Niyama
  3. Renunciation
  4. Non-speaking
  5. Place
  6. Time
  7. Asana (posture)
  8. Mulabandha asana
  9. Balance of body
  10. Fixing of gaze
  11. Pranayama
  12. Pratyahara
  13. Dharna
  14. Dhyana (meditation)
  15. Samadhi
