Commando Krav Maga

Hello Everyone !!!

The 8 Key Concepts :

1. Engage/disengage--
In a street fight, there are no rules. Staying engaged with the attacker and trying to punish them can be fatal.
Disengage whenever you can but if no choice, immediately engage to create as much damage as quickly as possible then disengage to safety.

2. Maximum damage/ minimum time--
Inflict maximum amount of damage in minimum amount of time during confrontation.

3. The 5 Seconds Rule--
Train to get up in 5 secs or less from any devastating ground attacks or lethal weapons. Once you are up, the goal is to disengage to safety.

4. The What-iffs--
In order to train in realistic ways, implement the "what-if" mindset by putting yourself in attacker's shoes. As the street is unpredictable, consider the different variables. By internalizing the "what-if" mentality, you will develop the proper mindset to always prepare for the worst.

5. Adaptation--
Adapt quickly to the changing environment under the most realistic scenarios.

6. Simplicity is genius--
Any technique that requires more than 2 gross motor skills is extremely difficult to perform under stress.

7. Going home safe !!--
Don't let ego get in the way of your judgement. You are a true winner if you go home alive and safe.

8. Evolution or Extinction--
The key to survival is to continuously evolve and progress. Any system that remains static can quickly become outdated.

Philosophy

1. Ethical--
The intention in any conflict situation is to find an honorable path towards peaceful resolution. Violence is the absolute last resolve, therefore, no first use of force.

2. Pragmatic--
While negotiating for peace, prepare for war. Loudly announce intentions of not wanting to fight. This further ensures that should the cops intervene, they will have witnesses to show that you do not want to fight and that whatever happened subsequently was the result of aggression of attacker.
Fighting in self defense is legally OK but aggression and the use of excessive force is not.

3. Dynamic--
Combat in the streets is totally unpredictable. There are no rules, no honor codes. Think like a Commando !! Engage and rapidly disengage.
The goal is survival !!!
