Nadi Yoga in Hinduism

Nāḍī is a term for the channels through which, in traditional Indian medicine and spiritual knowledge, the energies such as Prana of the physical body, the subtle body and the causal body are said to flow. 
Within this philosophical framework, the Nadis are said to connect at special points of intensity, the Chakras.

There are 72,000 Nadis (energy channels) of which 14 are principle.

The 14 Principle Nadis :

1. Ida
2. Pingala
3. Sushumna
4. Gandhari
5. Hastajihva
6. Yashasvini
7. Pusha
8. Alambusha
9. Kuhu
10. Shankini
11. Sarasvati
12. Payasvini
13. Varuni
14. Vishwodara
