The 14 Laws :
1. Unless extremely essential, do not give unsolicited advice.
2. Unless the situation demands, never try to score a point in a verbal duel and that too in the presence of others.
3. Talking less is more powerful than talking more.
4. Speak only till you are being listened.
5. Talking too much undermines our importance.
6. When we remain silent during a discussion, others are always in doubt-- either they consider us very learned or ignorant. So it is wiser to be silent if not well-versed with the topic.
7. We can never win the hearts of people if we talk unpleasantly, criticize others, hurt them or try to show them down.
8. Do not be hasty to reveal everything that you know. The other person may not be interested in listening to you.
9. Always have a reason to speak and 99% of them should be on a positive note.
10. An intelligent speaker is one who can influence the outcome of a discussion without others even realizing it.
11. Better to be a listener to gain knowledge.
12. Learn to say "NO", when required.
13. Develop the art of speaking the correct amount at the correct time.
14. Do not be enticed to talk on every occasion.
