The Tattvas in Kashmiri Shaivism

Kashmiri Shaivism is a group of several monastic and tantric religious traditions of Hinduism that flourished in Kashmir from the latter centuries of the first millennium C.E. through the early centuries of the second.
It has 8 schools of philosophy.

According to this tradition, there are 36 Tattavas, or principal concepts to understand the nature of absolute, the souls and the Universe.

The 36 Tattvas are :--

The 5 Fundamental Elements--
Earth
Air
Fire
Water
Ether

The 5 senses

The 5 sense organs

The 5 organs of actions

The 5 Inner Instruments--
Lower mind
Ego
Intellect
Prakriti tattva (fundamental operative energy of soul)
Purusha (Living soul)

The 6 Kancukas (The covering for the divine nature of beings)--
Niyati (spatial limitation)
Kala (limitation in time)
Raga (limitation of desire)
Vidya (limitation of knowledge)
Kalaa (limitation in power)
Maya (origin of illusion and duality)

The 5 Suddha Tattvas--

They are functioning in the absolute level which leads to the Panchakritya (Five acts) - Creation-Maintenance-Destruction-Concealment-Grace of almighty.
Suddha tattvas are called pure because they are directly created by Lord Shiva himself.
