Nadis of Human Body

Hello everyone !!! There are 3 prime nadis, or, channels in human bodies, according to Hindu scriptures. According to Yoga philosophy, there are approx. 72,000 Nadis in human body for movement of fluids and all other matters. Out of those, 3 are most important for human consciousness evolution. The Tattvas in Kashmiri Shaivism

Kashmiri Shaivism  is a group of several monastic and tantric religious traditions of Hinduism that flourished in Kashmir from the latter centuries of the first millennium C.E. through the early centuries of the second. NINJA : THE MYTH, THE REALITY (PART-3)

Hello everyone !!! Here is the final and concluding part of the Ninja series of posts. Ninja Training : Ninja training included instructions in esoteric Buddhism, Chinese Yin & Yang philosophy, mountain asceticism, herbal medicine, psychology, astronomy, magic, pharmacology and fortune telling. Ninjas did a lot of physical training and tried to keep their body weight around 60 kgs. They lifted 60-kg rice bags with one hand for strength, sprinted at great speeds backwards, sideways and trained hard to develop skills in climbing, jumping, swimming, moving through difficult terrain. Finger strengthening exercises were done so that they could hang through trees and walls for hours !! They were forbidden from eating meat and ate brown rice, to boost their concentration.  They learned the 18 basic Ninpo techniques and 18 martial arts skills. NINJA : THE MYTH, THE REALITY (PART-2)

Hello everyone !! Here I am continuing the Ninja facts from the last post.. Ninja Technology : Among the weapons used by Ninjas were disguised knives and swords, metal claws, spiked devices etc, that pierced the feet of pursuing enemies and around 30 different types of throwing stars or Shurikens . Despite their reputation for stealth, Ninjas were not shy about using noisy weapons. They also employed arrow-mounted rockets, smoke-pots, rifles  and portable cannons that shot gravels and iron chips !!! The Ninjas are Japanese warriors known for their occupation of assassination by stealth methods. They have been made immortal through Hollywood movies and are sometimes believed to be super-humans with magical powers. Although, there are some entities who envy your safety and happiness and so you need to keep some points in your mind if any such miscreant tries to harm you on streets or alleys.. 1. Strike first , when you have no other options left to handle your assailant. 2. Work the angles , because toe-to-toe fights are NASTY !!! 3. Keep your balance and keep the attacker off-balance. 4.
