The Advanced Commando Combat System
Hello Everyone !!!
The 7 Ranges of Combat :
1. Projectile range :--
Up to 30m in Close Quarters Battle (CQB)
2. Non-projectile weapon range :--
Up to 4 feet distance. The weapons are staff, sword, baton, dagger.
3. Kicking range :--
3 feet distance
4. Punching range :--
Up to 2-feet range
5. Knee and elbow range :--
Up to 1-feet distance
6. Ground range :--
Body on body.
The 5 Stances :
1. Stand upright, chest facing the opponent.
2. Lead foot
3. Lead knee bent, rear knee straight
4. Both hands in fists kept in front of chin
5. Elbow kept tucked in near ribs.
The 10 Commandments of Hand-to-Hand Combat :
1. Realize that the opponent's superior height, weight, aggression level and youth may neutralise your skills.
2. Its better to practice a few techniques 100 times rather than 100 techniques a few times.
3. Identify the opponent's body type and fight each one with a different strategy to use your advantage against his disadvantage, be flexible in your approach.
4. Attack first, attack fast, attack hard and force opponent to defense.
5. Attack at a range offering advantage depending upon opponent's stature and skill.
6. Attack at the best angle possible or attained.
7. Attack at a level uncomfortable to opponent depending upon his height.
8. Attack in a state of movement which opponent cannot harness.
9. Vary the type of attack, rush the opponent with various pre-planned combos.
10. Train realistically with protective gear and full contact to stimulate combat. Train for precision, speed and power.
