Basic Crime Scene Kit [Nepal Police Head Quarters Crime Investigation Department (2023)]

Crime investigation should be revised as a regular and dynamic process. With the development of society, the use, development and expansion of new technology in the way of committing crime is also a regular process. In this context, the field of crime investigation is becoming challenging due to the rapid expansion of crime style and network of criminals. If we analyze the incidents of crime in the last few years, then the number of crimes has increased, along with this, various complications have also been added to the investigation of the crime.

Article 50(1) of the Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of Part-IV state of the Constitution of Nepal (2012) has the main objective of the state to protect the life and property of the citizens, to maintain a just system in the values and values of fundamental rights and human rights. 

According to the preamble of the Nepal Police Act 2012, "The Nepal Police Force has been formed as it is necessary to maintain peace and order by making Nepal Police a competent means of preventing and detecting crime."

  • identify organized criminals involved in crimes of serious nature and discourage impunity;

  • To enhance the institutional capability of research and the technological capability.

The Concept of Mlecchas in Hinduism
