The prison guards were equipped with auto-rifles, hand grenades, trained dogs.


# CIA Rectal Toolkit -- (1960s)

Cutting blades, saw blades, reamer bit, pliers/ wire-cutters, file bits, drill bits, grinding bit.

# An inmate smuggled-in the prison a capped metal pipe about 7-8" long, containing 3 saw blades, a cuff key, 2 razor blades, a Shank.

# HM Prison Maze, N. Ireland :-- (1983)

During the prison escape, the inmates attacked prison guards with handguns, knife, SD, hammer.


# A prison-made weapon was an electronically-fired Shotgun during a breakout in Germany (1984).


# Clinton Correctional Facility, NY :-- (2015)

Contraband seized from drones included hacksaw blades, razors, tweezers, cellphones, chargers, SIM cards, drugs.


# Port of Spain (Trinidad & Tobago) Prison Contraband seized [2019]

The package contained cigarettes, box cutters, a pen-knife, a scale, wrapping paper, lighters, Marijuana blocks, notebook, pen.


# According to the Geneva Convention, PoW only have to divulge the "Big Four" - Name, Rank, Serial Number, Date of birth.


# Russian Prison Tattoos :-- (1930-50s)

a) The 3 categories-- 

"CK" for Ssylno-Katorzhny (hard labour convict), "SP" for Ssylno-Poselenets (hard labour deportee) "Б" for Begly (escapee). 

b) In 1846, VOR was replaced by "KAT"; the first three letters of the word for "hard labour convict" or katorzhnik.

c) The tattoos show a "service record" of achievements and failures, prison sentences, the type of work a criminal does,  his "thief's family".

US Prison Phone System

It allows you to make either Collect calls or Prepaid calls. 

Prepaid calls requires the inmate to have money sent in by friends/ family and posted to a phone account and then calls are made by entering the Inmate no. and a PIN.
